Hancock Park is a historic neighborhood located in the central region of Los Angeles. The neighborhood was developed in the 1920s and feature architecturally distinctive residences that embody charm and affluence. It also features one of Los Angeles's most famous private golf clubs, Wilshire Country Club in which the neighborhood itself is built around. Being mainly a residential neighborhood, residents look to nearby Larchmont Village for their shopping and eating. Girasole, a neighborhood staple, features sidewalk tables where locals can be found during the weekend enjoying a relaxing Italian lunch or dinner. Hancock Park is also home to numerous schools including the highly regarded all-girls school, Marlborough School.
