A hilltop Los Angeles compound with mountain and city skyline views hit the market for $9.8 million on Thursday.
Spread across 5.7 acres in the city’s Tujunga neighborhood, the estate consists of a futuristic seven-sided glass home, a historic Mid-Century Modern house designed by late starchitect Richard Neutra and a cabin, with a total of five bedrooms and five bathrooms.
The oldest structure on the property was built in 1954 by Neutra for his secretary, Donna Serulnic, according to the listing.
The original 1,350-square-foot hilltop home features two bedrooms and a bathroom. The living room includes a bear valley stone fireplace and an original sofa system equipped with a record player and concealed speakers. Neutra-style built-ins and the wooden textures are pronounced throughout the home.
